I don’t take my bra off until I get my pajamas on in the late evening. But I’m also an A cup. My bras are almost all non padded and no underwire. If I am wearing an underwire, I don’t keep it on long, think something lacey for a special occasion. I’m very lean on my torso and there just isn’t enough padding between my breasts for an underwire. They leave red pressure sores if I have them on all day. |
What is your bra size? I’m like you in that I hate scarves and jewelry and shoes BUT a bra makes me feel secure somehow? |
+1 from a fellow 32DD here. I even wear them to sleep (a bra, not an underwire) and find it more comfortable. |
No. I'm a 34DDD and they are really saggy from breastfeeding, but I still prefer to go around just, uh, free boobing, as they say. But only at home, obviously. And I have to wear a good sports bra while doing high impact workouts. |
I'm a very chubby 36G and I agree. I am really careful about getting bras that fit well. Most nights I wear a bra until I get in to pajamas/bed |
Getting better bras changed that feeling for me. I sleep without one but otherwise prefer a bra |
34A and I hate it with all my might. I have a larger ribcage and I hate the feeling of the band on my ribs; I spend all day long pulling at it.
This thread reminds me that I used to wear more tank top type things under clothes instead. I need to go back to that. |
I think it's mostly thin women with small boobs who don't wear them.
I have a B cup and I often go without at home. |
I'm a 32H, and I hate wearing bras. I do, because obviously I have to, but I take them off as soon as I get home. Unfortunately, this means that I sometimes have to hold my chest while going down the stairs, or other boob-shaking activities. It has nothing to do with fit; I just don't like them. |
Before kids when i was a perky 30C? No bra forever.
Sometime after my first kid was I was doing something with no bra on and felt this weird sensation - it was my saggy boobs brushing my postpartum stomach as I bent over. After that? Bras 24/7. I also am a fan of stretchy pullover lounge-type bras for bedtime, just to keep my boobs somewhat under control. |
I can't sleep in one, but otherwise, I'm fine wearing one.
The only time I notice my bra is if I'm wearing one that's a bit stretched out and the straps start slipping as the day goes on. |
Yes, this is also me. I'm a small B and very happy to do without a bra whenever I can. I don't like a lot of jiggle either, so I prefer to wear a stretchy fitted tank or cami top that gives me just a little hold. When I've been in a bra all day I can't wait to take it off when I get home. |
I prefer to wear one all the time unless I’m in bed. I don’t like the feeling of gravity pulling at them unsupported.
I’m 51, I’ve worn bras all day every day since I was a teenager, and my boobs are super perky, unlike my mother’s at the same age. I chalk it up to consistent bra wearing. |
8pm? Girl, I rip that binder off as soon as I come into the house before I even hit the steps to go upstairs. Sometimes before I take off my shoes, and sometimes before my fake hair for bad hair days! |
I'm a 34 f, and 5'2. I buy ones that fit well. And still love ripping it off at the end of the day. I wish I had a job where I could work from home all the time and never wear one ever.
I actually don't understand why I "need" one to run errands or other casual activities. |
