I think this is too dressy, more like something a young mother of the bride might wear.

Or how do you feel about wearing navy dress pants (or a navy suit) with a dressy top? That's what my cousin's wife wore when she was kid-wrangling to her sister-in-law's (black tie optional) wedding.

This is also great. I haven't yet found a jumpsuit I can pull off, but if you can, this would be nice!

Why not help OP find something that she is comfortable in that you think is less frumpy, then?

I think you could wear a cardigan over the jumpsuit for the ceremony.

Modcloth is sometimes a good place to look. I found this (which is long enough) but there are many others: https://www.modcloth.com/shop/dresses/emily-and-fin-keener-postures-midi-dress-in-navy/142695.html

I love that Eliza J dress. It reminds me of the great dress Amy wore on Suprestore to Sandra's wedding:

Lots of other really nice dresses by that designer, too - I've never owned one so I don't know what their sizing is like, but hopefully one day I'll find out!

OP here, that's also more cleavage than I'm comfortable wearing while bending over my child.

I just also happen to want a dress.

OP here, I'll own that. I'm not looking to wear something super fashionable. That's just not me.

If you think the OP should wear a jump suit that will wrinkle & get little stains that easily with 3 kids... you've never had kids.
