My thought too. How about a pants thing that they are showing? They have some dressy ones so when you bend down its not an issue.

I was like that too. I didn't care as long as you came.

TJ Max/Marshalls has some pants jumpsuits (or what ever they are called) for a lot cheaper. You can buy online and return in the store.

Great thread OP! I ended up buying some summer dresses for spring break.

I think the Bowden wrap dress would work, or the Talbots one that someone posted. You might also check Land's end- I have found several terrific dresses that are washable, the right length and just fancy enough for a casual wedding.

I actually think the Boden wrap dress is super pretty and perfect for a casual day time wedding. Sounds like the bride really doesn’t care what you wear so I wouldn’t think about pictures or maid of honor or any of that. Choose what you’re most confident in. However this one and the long green are my fave by a landslide

I really like the first amazon dress in Dark Green

I care about the pictures. Maybe not so much about the bride's pictures, but this will be the first time since we we became a family of 5 that we've all gotten dressed up, so I'd love to get some really good pictures of and with the kids.

I'm drawn to this boden dress you posted originally. I also LOVE Boden!

It is so comfortable and flattering. Paired with the right shoes and some statement jewelry it might the perfect blend of dressy casual.

I think this dress is very pretty and won't look out of place in photographs. I think the dresses with patterns - like the Boden ones - will make you stick out too much in pictures. With this more subdued color palate, you want to just kind of blend in.

You have nice taste, and I think you're on the right track. My favorites were the green floral one at the top, the maroon flowered wrap dress, and the darker maxi dress at the bottom.

Don't worry about "matching" … all of these would look fine in photos.
