In order to have a male child, sex needs to be at the most fertile time but it's a small window. In order to have a female child, sex needs to be well in advance, and well in advance of the most fertile time. |

Yes, but not 15% - but it might move things by a percent or two at most. I had my girl then my boy using timing.
Girl happened first try (easier to plan). Boy took 3 tries - smaller window and I was really trying to time it properly. (Sex only once in the two day window when conceiving) |

| Could be lucky, but I used pregnancy calendar & timing to get what I want. I got boy first, and then a girl next.Trying for boy was easy at first try. Trying for girl was hardest because I tried to using timing & it took me 2-3 months to get pregnant & I almost wanted to give up. |

If you can work out the EXACT day you ovulate (you can tell this by the clear discharge produced on that day) then you only TTC on that day and you'll more likely have a boy.
If you TTC a few days before this, like up to 4 days max, you'll very likely have a girl because those guys hang around and are sturdy and they wait for that egg whereas the boy sperm are racing to get to it the moment they are out of the gate. So if its there waiting, they'll get it but if its not there yet the boy sperm will die off. |

I'm eating paleo so no cereal for me and I have 2 boys, the last one at 41 y/o. I conceived my 2nd shortly after my period, so way earlier than my peak ovulation. Girls are stronger from a biological point, so men with damaged DNA tend to produce girls. Also, if the father has more sisters, it also increases the probability of having a girl. Women with dominant personalities (increased T) have more sons.
