How to have a boy?

Anonymous
According to research, be inherently domineering as a woman, have a rich husband, have a secure lifestyle (no sicknesses, external threats, etc.) and eat cereal for breakfast (no joke, this is what one paper said). The biggest effect is probably the wealth and plentiful resources. Can tip the scales by up to 15%

Look at the aunts and uncles for what?

Just meant if there are mainly girls/aunt or boo/uncles in the family trees.

Hmmm My dh comes from a family with 4 kids; 2 boys and 2 girls.

But Dh and I have all boys, and all of his siblings also only have boys--not a single girl out of 8 kids!

Np I hate the fact you equate wimpy sperm=girls. We can't expect to be treated well if our own gender/sex thinks we are inferior and wimpy.

Why do you want a boy? What makes them better than girls?

Do IVF and select the male embryos for transfer.

Uhhh, I think you're overthinking that a bit. Male factor infertility causes poor quality/wimpy sperm. It doesn't cause children, girls or boys, to be wimpy. Regardless of the kid, the sperm would still be objectively wimpy.

I want a boy because we have 2 girls and I know DH wants a boy. I wouldn’t mind 3 girls though.

Younger father and younger mother.

I had two girls and then a boy (not planned). Did not do anything different. I was a bit older and weighed 5 lbs more. I don’t think you can choose, but I remember really wanting girls the first two times and I was having sex everyday and timing right (got pregnant first month with both girls). The third was not planned. I considered taking the morning after pill, but DH thought that having sex once a couple of days after my period ended was not too risky... we had our boy. He is amazing and I am so happy we have him!

Yes. All the older parents have girls for the most part! I know girl embryos are stronger and more likely to survive than boys...

Wear a clove of garlic around your neck. Drink 4 oz of olive
Oil before intercourse. Hop on left foot 15 times after inter course. Good luck!

I’m a boy mom and know lots of older parents with boys. The best/only want to increase your chances of a boy is to do IVF with gender selection.

Increase.

This is such utter bullshit, I can’t even laugh. If you want to know how to (very slightly) increase the odds of having a boy, go to a reputable medical website and search for the answer instead of picking up ignorant crap from mindless morons. Think WeBMD, Mayo Clinic, etc.

From a sample size of one, Shettle's "How to Choose the Sex of Your Baby", which IIRC claims it can shift the odds by about 30% or so, worked. From what I could tell, the information in the book about how fertility works wasn't complete hokum. I'd call its information at least on par with the the Chinese astrological chart that an older family member sent.
