The campaign says he’ll win? I’m shocked. ![]() |
I know that you don’t mean it to sound that way, but these comments are incredibly naive and offensive. I appreciate the enthusiasm of youth, but your arguments would be more persuasive if you could convince your fellow millennials to vote in the same numbers as ‘the oldsters’. Believe it or not, we don’t all shrivel up and die once we hit sixty. A lot of us were fighting for your rights before you were even born. |
I’m not a millennial; I’m a Gen Xer. (I will not assume you’re a boomer.) I’m not naive. In fact, I pay attention. What I’m saying may sound offensive, and I totally get that. It’s true, though. Oldsters cannot carry the electorate alone. If you truly like Biden, I get you’re support. My issue is a lot of people are voting for him because they think he appeals to the masses. He does not. |
*Your (Sorry, I can’t let that sit unchecked.) |
Why don’t you think that Biden appeals to the masses? Any data to support that? BTW, I don’t agree with you, but I like your spunk. |
Hi, OP
I agree with you. I like him, too. I'm not worried about his "handsy nature" either. However, he is old, and his best bet is to have a strong, young(er) VP. I like Klobuchar. I've been saying my ticket would be Amy/Pete. Both are moderate enough (based on the new definition of Democrat) to work with both sides. I don't want another "extremist." That person (Warren and Bernie) will only continue to polarize the nation. |
Ugh. Do not lump Warren in with Bernie. They are nothing alike. |
My biggest question is who determined Joe Biden to be a "national treasure?" |
What are the differences in their policy proposals? |
I don’t care that he is senior and I don’t care about his quirks either way.
My only reservation is that certain forces within his government might prevail and we will get a california at the federal level. Lots of growth and opportunity for the very well off and very poor (illegal migrants) but also a less and less appealing place to live for the middle folks and “domestic” poor. |
Hillary was NOT the most electable. She had polling problems that were apparent from the beginning and only became more apparent when she did so badly in the early primaries, especially in the Midwest.
Biden has leads that Hillary never had. He has his problems but is ABSOLUTELY more electable than she ever was. She was the worst candidate the Dems put up in years. |
Look at the 2016 Dem primary results. When Clinton barely won Iowa and lost Michigan I knew she had major problems. The fact that you all think she was the most electable and that her general election loss was a surprise is laughable.

Are you black op? |
OP said she is. |
Amen and I am voting in Va absent in person primary today. I expect Biden to add Harris or Gilliam. I have one issue this election: Trump. -45, AA, woman |
