Last year I smelled a gas leak and called the fire department. The guys who showed up were straight out of central casting and off the charts hot. When I mentioned this to my husband he asked if I checked out their hoses which I thought was pretty funny.

Laughed at your DH’s comment. Good sense of humor.

You want drama and a divorce. You also want to traumatize your kid when all this comes to light and grows up knowing you boinked his best friend's dad. Geez louise, what is wrong w/people these days?

OMG this is SO TOTALLY NORMAL. I had a HUGE crush on my husband's cousin-- and he was 20 years younger!!!!!

Was he a teenager?

Lol you’re joking, right?

yup been there, i actually posted about it a year ago because it was tormenting me and really you can't talk about these things with anyone. It's absolute torture.

I wouldn’t go there OP.
If you do - almost EVERYTHING in your life will be ruined.

You have a husband you are attracted to, healthy children & a good life now.
Appreciate your blessings & do not take them for granted.

Focus on all you have in life when around this Father.
Sure.....You can certainly fantasize but do not let any of them come to play.

Besides crushes can be fun.

Crushed can be fun, enjoy it but do not start texting him and absolutely do not be alone with him where there is a chance for sex. He almost certainly will accelerate it if you let him. Married men as faithful as their options. He will have sex with you if you signal interest

I have a crush on your husband OP, I think he'd reciprocate, should I press it?

Go, girl, go. I wish it was me you would reciprocate with. However, my kids are in college so I cannot be the DH of the OP.

Some situation, OP, and it seems to be mutual. We’re both very committed to our families and would never go there, but yeah, the tension is definitely there. I would just say avoid drinking together unless you’re in a big group with spouses present. This dad and I once got a little too touchy with each other having a conversation while drinking at a party (not sexual, just arm touching), but it made me realize I need to be really careful. I would never jeopardize everything like that. Crushes are fun and normal, but don’t let it go beyond fantasy!

If your husband is into cuckold porn like I am, then this may work for you.

But my youngest has a good friend whose dad is just so handsome and- this is the part that kills me- just incredibly attractive as a person. He's super witty, thoughtful, actually listens to people, etc. I've had actual dreams about being with him. Multiple times. Vivid

I feel like a jackass, sometimes I blush when talking to him and I imagine he has to know and is probably laughing at me.

I can't be the only one that is drawn to a kid's friend's parent?
