I have seen worse in a number of workplaces, including a variety of professions. Doesn’t make it right but doesn’t make it barbaric or terribly unusual. I curse around my kids all the time. I probably should not but there it is. My parents cursed around me. And if we felt really strongly growing up, sometimes things might have gotten physical. Again, it’s not ideal, but there are many things that I would call a lot more repugnant that I see every weekend at games or during the week at work. I just keep those judgments to myself and try to save my outrage for November 2020. |
I just clutched my own pearls reading this |
Oh, I curse at home, just not in an environment where I am employed. And, believe it or not, it is entirely possible to think that this coach acted like a jerk will still being far more outraged by other things. |

Please stop justifying the behavior at the U13 game. It was more than a cuss word. Event staff swarmed the futsal court.
Security and police being called is not a common event at my workplace and certainly should not occur at a youth event. |

This is like the guy who goes on a 2 week vacation to France and comes back a wine and cheese expert.
US Futsal rules don't allow shoulder charge, or slide tackles. They literally say that: https://futsal.com/rules-game-summary/ · charging an opponent with shoulder (i.e., shoulder charge) · sliding at an opponent (i.e., sliding tackle) FIFA rules aren't quite as specific, but state the following as fouls: • Charges an opponent• Strikes or attempts to strike an opponent• Pushes an opponent• Tackles an opponent https://img.fifa.com/image/upload/wqgxud48gmsas900jqza.pdf Oh, and this: A player is cautioned if he commits any of the following seven offences:• Unsporting behaviour• Dissent by word or action [and 5 more] So Hyper played in some tourneys overseas which took a different view of the rules of the game. They then came back home and said screw it, we will make our own rules, ignore the FIFA laws of the game, the US laws of the game, and the tournament rules. Good for them I guess?? I'm willing to bet that almost every one of us has had complaints about reffing, in soccer, watching football, basketball etc. But for a coach to walk his kids off the field, and let them flip off refs (at 12 years old), is pathetic. |

Does anyone know why girls results from many of the finals are not posted?
