Not to suggest he yell, stomp and lose his temper. He just comes off as overly sensitive and his wife and daughter sense that and respond by walking all over him.

The phrase "beautiful sweatshirt" did not ring authentic. (Sorry I mistakenly typed "beautiful sweater" in a PP). If I visualize a "beautiful sweatshirt" it is a sequined, embellished Chico's special.
