Dead is too old. Matching is awesome |
All ages! |
Yes but did you take photos and then use them for holiday cards? I believe that is what OP is asking and I think people are missing that point.... |
not sure that its for holiday cards -- but a photo to share in some capacity. Or maybe OP just wants the photo for her own family. hard to say |
we never do matching pajamas & I like to buy different patterns for each kids & adults. Cute graphic pattern for young kids (boy like paw patrol, girl like peppa pig), DH likes simple design & I dress whatever I want. |
For Christmas?! |
If you have an only child, he has nobody but you and DH with whom to match, presumably. So really, it doesn't matter whether 8 or 11 or any other age is too old. I think we can all agree that sending out a Holiday card with you and DH in pajamas is weird. Wearing the matching jammies is fine, but nobody wants to see you in your skivvies. |
Somehow I think people missed the "Christmas photo" part of this thread.... |
Never!
But if you’re taking pictures for your Christmas cards, then not beyond toddlerhood. I also don’t understand when you’d even get all the adults together for this picture - while it’s fun for everyone to wear Christmas pajamas on Christmas morning, getting the pajamas and adults together for a picture in November would be kind of lame. And it would take the novelty out of wearing them together on Christmas. But doing it in November is the only way you’d be able to get the cards mailed out in time. So, yes, if you’re taking pictures of cute toddlers next to the tree. Otherwise, no. |
It really depends on what your child thinks, not your "friend." |
11 just means it's up to your kid. (I would proactively offer the choice to any kid 6+, frankly. I want family traditions to be fun and have no interest in embarrassing them.) If s/he thinks it's fine/fun? Do it, absolutely. If s/he isn't enthused? Nope. |
For a Christmas photo? Stop. Wear real clothes. |
I think it is fun no matter what the age |
