Why is there so much hate here directed at Gabbard? I just can't figure it out ?

She actually told the truth.

Very few Democrats would agree, but it does explain why Republicans love her.

You are saying that all those Bernie supporters in 2016 were....Republicans?

It is a known fact that Hillary controlled the DNC and manipulated the process to benefit herself.

Professional Democrats just care about their jobs. What happens to the country or the world doesn’t matter to them, so all who challenge them automatically become ‘Republicans’!

...or Russians.

...or unemployed.

Yeah, when the other side is cheering you on, it usually means something has gone wrong in your campaign.

Or that we’re on the cusp of political re-alignment. Are you Tulsi haters so young you’ve never heard of, say, Reagan Democrats?

Yes, we are on the cusp of a re-alignment. But Gabbard will not be leading it.

I don't like Gabbard's coddling of Assad and how she cast doubt on his gassing his own people. Or that she won't clearly denounce Putin. Or that she has downplayed the Mueller Report.

And even though she says she regrets her past ugly anti-gay stances, I find it hard to trust it's still gone.

And I find it suspicious that David Duke loves her. Sorry but that seems like an immediate NO THANK for any candidate, even if they reject him.

She’s an agent provocateur. She won’t denounce Russian bots boosting her campaign online. She voted against the Magnitsky Act.

Democratic voters are patriotic and sick of foreign influence in AMERICAN elections. Tulsi is more of the same: like Trump, she is being promoted by foreigners.

Anonymous wrote:When you look at her platform, it's all common sense type stuff, the sort of things every Democrat should be in favor of.

She is for:

Banning Assault rifles and high cap magazines. She cosponsored a bill to do just that. Wants universal background checks and mandatory confiscation of existing AR15 weapons. -Ok, sounds like a good start. Maybe not enough, but she's a pragmatist.

Wants $15.00/hr Min wage. - Ok, who doesn't favor this? I think $25-$30 is more reasonable, but it's a start at least.

For reparations. - Who isn't?

Wants to abolish the Electoral College. - 100% agreed. Take it a step further though, and elect senators by popular vote, too.

Is opposed to all fossil and nuclear fuels. - this is a no-brainer.

Favors Medicare for all. Again, who doesn't?

Thinks College should be free. - Spot on.

Abortion should have no restrictions. - Exactly.

Wants international pricing on medication. - Hell yes.

Wants Citizenship for Dreamers. - As opposed to what?

Slash the Defense budget. - Gee, a military officer who wants to end military adventurism? That makes her literally THE most honest person on earth.

These are CORE Democratic values. Every single one of them. But all everyone wants to do is destroy her. I just can't wrap my head around it.

You're crazy.

Tulsi doesn't support half of those "values" -- like many other Dems.

Your question is good, though.

What?!?!

Those are ALL things she has spoken in favor of. Have you even been to her website? WTH are you even talking about?

She has voted against an assault weapons ban.

She voted against it because it didn't go far enough, and it let existing owners keep them. That's why she opposed it.

If it passed, it then becomes a "solved" problem that politicians then take credit for, which didn't actually solve a thing. She voted against it because it would've accomplished nothing except ending sales of new assault weapons. It didn't address confiscating the millions upon millions that are already out there. That's why she opposed it.
you can't be a purist in Congress and get things done.

Maybe not, but it’s very likely to make fools of HRC, the current Democratic leadership, and their slavish followers. What Tulsi did this weekend is just a small part of that world’s comeuppance.

She is still in the Science of Identity Foundation, which is a cult. A gay hate cult. Here’s a sample of what he thinks of Muslims and gays.

I’m pretty sure the perpetual war machine has done massively more harm to humanity than some random group with impact. But obviously I can’t keep you from prioritizing trivialities.

Me too. I don’t think Gabbard has a chance but she has become the whipping girl for HRC for an unfathomable reason. She should be as ignored as Stier or Castro.

Browder is a criminal and a liar who ran away from a process server in NYC. That you buy his line makes your gullibility clear.

To be clear, I am a PP and I do not hate Tulsi or any of the other candidates. We can discuss problems candidates are facing without calling each other "haters" as if we are high schoolers, can't we? Everyone benefits from feedback.

We are a country of fools now. If Trump wins again, it means we like it that way.
