Prozac - what has been your experience?

Everyone’s experience is going to be different but Prozac made a big difference for my son who has adhd and level 1 ASD. He is happier and more flexible. We noticed improvements within three days of starting it.
He is younger than yours - he started Prozac at at about six years old. |

My son takes Prozac and a low dose of a stimulant. The combination has been really helpful for him. |

| My DD is on Adderall XL and Clonidine and they were working really well. Looking to start low dose Prozac to decrease anxiety and mild depression, so I appreciate this thread. She currently takes Buspar but it's so short acting and taking 2-3x a day isn't something that works for her as a teen playing sports, etc... So hoping the Prozac can take it's place |

| Side effects were tough and some weightloss initially, but once that was over it was great for depression and obsessive thoughts. |
