She's not putting out because you probably did or didn't do something to begin with...lol

Thanks for this important and helpful contribution to the thread

That's when you start looking for the new DH! And one that likes to have fun.

It’s opened up new places to travel to and on a nice Sunday afternoon it is a fun way to spend a few hours together. We do other fun things together as well but golf has been a very nice surprise.

You must be great in bed because no husband plays golf with his wife without an ulterior motive!

LOL! I have no idea if I'm great in bed except to say that I am a very enthusiastic participant and so is my husband. Sunday golf followed by a nice dinner and sex is a nice way to spend a day.

You sound ideal and your DH is unbelievably fortunate to have you. I speak on behalf of all men who golf to say this is as close to an ideal Sunday as it comes.

Woman here - I agree except about the golf!

Man here - I'll skip the dinner.

Rock climbing & hiking, watching TV shows together, playing video games, and cooking together are our main things. Other things we do together are usually things one of us likes, and the other tags along - for ex., DH loves baseball, so we go to games together. I love music, so we go to concerts together.

We have very different hobbies but we love to travel and socialize together. We don't do a lot of activities together (sports for him, arty things for me) but we love just being together and talking about "stuff". We also have a very nice love life!

What do you guys do?

Affair proofing your marriage means not picking a cheater to begin with. My experience is the red flags were there when one is dating. I would only desire a spouse who will be there through thick and thin. Not someone I have to constantly entertain or be concerned they would cheat.

Every couple should be doing things together regardless. We go on cruises and do many camping trips. Dinners and shows are big too with us.

+1 to this, especially "every couple should be doing things together regardless." People should marry people with whom they already share some interests and values, and should naturally want to do some activities together because....they share the interest. Not just as a forced "we need to bond to save our marriage" thing.

Couples don't have to do EVERYthing together, and having some different interests is healthy. So is trying new things together.

To answer: Museums, historic sites, theater, walking, TV, road trips. These were all things we each liked before we met too.

We love Yoga, sailing, hiking, road trips to weird places, ....I’m sure there are more I have missed. It has changed many times over the last 30 years. Mostly we just love hanging out together. I truly did marry my best friend. Right now we are obsessed with our first grandchild.

Travel, playing cards, going to the movie theater, hiking, billiards, cooking together, weekend happy hours (pick a neighborhood that has multiple in close proximity and have at it!), street fairs, comedy shows.

My DH and I took up skiing last year, which we both really loved. We also like to hike and travel.

Travel, just relaxing and watching a TV show together, playing music, listening to music, and cooking.

We don't travel as much on our own now that we have a kid, but we find time for everything else. My parents do pay for a weekend away every year as a joint birthday present for us, which is great.

You don't read very well. Do you know what 'if' means?

If she distanced herself from me sexually I'd distance myself from her. It's natural, and common, for that to take place.
