Curious, why are you too scared to tell your DH that you do Botox? Not healthy. |
| 52 and not doing it. |
This |
| I’m fat so I don’t need fillers or Botox. |
| I do it on my forehead. FWIW, my husband is a doctor and is totally fine with Botox but doesn’t want me to do fillers. He is concerned about the long term effects from those. |
I'm a just-turned-37 yo academic and I can't freaking wait to get Botox. If DH and I weren't trying to aggressively save I'd go tomorrow. |
| I do the 11 between my eyebrows because it made me look angry all the time. The funny thing is I'm much happier now that I do not have a permanent angry face. I'm 49. |
haha same |
They just aren't telling you. I am 51 and while it may not be the "norm" among my younger friends (mid 30's-mid 40's), there is certainly a percentage, say 30%ish, that do it. And then there's another 25% or so that are either considering it or would do it if not for the expense..... |
this is me too. I started doing botox on my upper forehead and above my eyebrows. |
Your big problem is that you have to do "secret" trips to the derm. Who are you people who hide stuff from your DHs? That is so weird. |
Good point. Not fat, but a few extra pounds. I don't diet because I fear a gaunt face. |
She is obviously embarrassed to tell her husband or else he is controlling. |
| I didn't have any wrinkles until age 39 and then it was a very faint 11. There is no way I would have started in my 20s and been injecting that poison in my head for 50+ years. |

Some of y'all getting this done should look at this article--preventive Botox and fillers in your 20s/30s can be harmful.
