Zero. It’s my daughters middle name and I love it. Only reason we didn’t use it for a first name was because there are sooo many girls named Eva/Evie/Ava that I was afraid she’d be confused with them. Irrational? Perhaps. |

Too many. |
Maybe your wife doesn’t like the name but feels trapped since you already used her grandmothers name? Crying “too popular” seems like a Hail Mary as a veto. |
I knew an Ivanna who used Ivy as a nickname. |
Whatever. You must be the wife. |
Who cares? If you love a name, use it. |
3! Love the name. My friend is considering using it for her unconcieved baby so it may be off the table for me to use. But its a family name great-great-great family member. |

One, and she's about ten and lives in another state. I've never heard the name in the DC area, actually, although 'm sure there are some. Maybe your friend or whoever knows all the Ivies in Bethesda, but outside of her little pocket, it's not that common. |
She's not using the word literally correctly so I don't think you can believe anything she says. Seriously, though, ask her to name all the kids she knows named Ivy. I don't know any, but do like the name. |
LOLOL. OP here. actually giggled at this. Beck, is that you? :-* |
My neice! School aged in PA.
She gets lots of positive feedback on her name. Confusing when she had surgery....when the Dr started her IV ..that's the one negative. |
