This always amazes me. Of course, the alternative is to live out your crush fantasy and potentially blow up your marriage, but for whatever reason it's okay to be pumping away on DH or DW, and be wishing it was someone else. Spouse is never the wiser, and the sex is likely explosive, but ultimately your mind is still elsewhere, on someone else, and you're using their body as a masturbator.

Your body may not be guilty, but your mind is. Whatever keeps you together until you're dead.

Yes, that’s pretty much how it works. It’s called fantasizing, and doesn’t involve developing an actual relationship (sexual or otherwise) with the person outside the marriage. You should try it!

And if you think your spouse doesn’t ever do this, you’re very naive.
