Do they coaches there usually stay with the same teams as they age up? How many teams does each coach have?

Yes, coaches typically stay with their teams as they age. I think each coach has 1 or 2 teams.

Both of Suli's teams are very good. The girls are strong in NCSL Div 1 and boys strong in Division 2. Suli is an excellent coach!

How about 2007, 2006, both boys and girls next season possibly coming from VIVA

Not if PAC has seen any of the Viva players, but not Mclean 2007 girls gave offers to an entire extra team

The other thing that’s different - b/c multiple age groups practice at the same time, the coaches interact and get to know kids on other teams. So when a coach might change- there is a very good chance it is someone the kids knows already.

Both boys teams Navy and White won the cannon cup this weekend.

Does anyone know if pac is still trying out 07 boys? Or have the filled all of their spots? I know its late in the game but we just received our rejection email from a bigger club. My DS is a midfielder / wing back who's very fast but lacks A-team footwork. He scored several goals on a ncsl d-5 team this spring. Any other clubs still looking to fill roster spots are appreciated too.

I highly recommend PAC. My son played there from age 8 to 16 and only changed clubs because his team fell apart. He made a high level team -- and he regularly sees his friends from PAC -- they all play varsity HS soccer and club. The most important judge of the club is my son -- and he is and will be loyal to the club and coaches forever. He is being recruited to play college soccer -- and owes his development to their approach and dedication. I don't think he would have stayed with it when he was younger without PAC -- the sink or swim approach of many local clubs just doesn't suit most kids. PAC develops the kids who want to play the game. Sully, Carlos, Katim, Gerald and many more PAC coaches taught my son high level skills and strategy - he knows the game as well as any of his peers. They encouraged dedication, kindness, respect and loyalty. We are thankful for the opportunity that he had with PAC.

We had a very different experience with Suli several years ago. He coached Navy team and ran it into a ground in one year. Playing time started to be allocated based on politics, which had a detrimental effect on how the team performed and affected the team chemistry. All, but one player, left for other clubs. Many of them are playing on high level teams now so the team clearly had plenty of raw talent. On the other hand, Sully Hamid is a good coach.
