It's not simply the salt for me, I just find them overall bland. Again, just my taste. |
Same. I don't salt my own cooking much at all. The soups aren't bland just from lack of salt - there are other ways to make a soup flavorful and tasty. But Soupergirl's are just tasteless, still. |

Bumping this for an update six years later. I plan on trying the spicy gazpacho soon. I see these are available at Whole Foods and Safeway and elsewhere.
Any other flavors people can recommend? |
| Beet gazpacho is awesome. Her hot soups are still bland and eh. |
The spicy gazpacho is amazing - love it. I also really loved the vegan broccooli soup with cashew cream but I haven't seen it in years. It was sooooo good. One of my all-time favorite soups. I've tried to make it at home, but it's not as good. |
I barely cook with salt in my own kitchen, always use less than most recipes call for etc., just a personal preference. Salt is not the problem for me with these soups, they're just super bland over all. As others have noted, I really want to love them but they're not for me. Oh well. |
| I like the lentil and white bean. I mostly buy it because both have a good amount of both protein and fiber. The taste was ok - until my coworker suggested I add a little green dragon hot sauce. That takes care of the blandness. |
| I really liked these soups when I was pregnant. They were healthy and bland enough for me to eat when I didn't want anything too flavorful. I think she uses the same base for many of her soups which is why they all taste similar. |
Beer gazpacho! And watermelon gazpacho when she has it. |
Sorry! BEET is what I typed

| Soup from a grocery store? Hard pass. That's for the lazy/infirm. |
