Omg. Yes. I’m not even American, I’m from one of those god forsaken countries. What’s wrong with you, people?

I thought everyone who went to college watched this at some point. I'm 38 and that's when I first saw it. I think we spent an entire hungover Saturday watching all 3 one day.

We just watched Zootopia, and clearly the people who wrote the Vole storyline saw the Godfather.

I’ve read the book, but I haven’t seen the movie.

34, and no. I've seen bits and pieces of 1, I think. It's my FILs FAVORITE and therefore DH has seen it many many times, he can't believe I haven't. I guess I'd like to, to see what all the hype is about, it just hasn't happened so far.

Definitely. I like 2 better than 1. But 3, ughhh, why, whyyyy! So we pretend 3 doesn't exist.

Not sure you can even call yourself an American if you have not seen the Godfather.

It's the quintessential allegory for the dark side of the American Dream. And it's even more poignant given the current Administration and the fact that many of our country's top business leaders are really just one attorney away from being a mobster.
