Is There a Stigma Attached to Receiving Financial Aid?--sorry, noticed typo in earlier posting

I'm not sure if there is financial grouping or if it is just locational. At our school, the rich tend to live near one another, which is more convenient for playdates. They also tend to go to the same country clubs, join the same T-ball or soccer club, and have friends at the same public schools. So its not that they don't like all the kids in the class, but they tend to hang out with each other, and their parents hang out with one another. Its more effort to get together with the kid who lives 20 minutes away in other neighborhoods.

I see...so you're attributing it to geographical convenience as opposed to snootiness. I hope you're right!
