Since when did Valentines' day become a smaller version of Christmas for kids? |
|
One of those big Hershey Kisses.
DS is getting chocolate too (they've inherited my chocoholism). |

| Nothing. I’m sure she will exchange some valentines with or without candy with friends. I think they were making cards for their closest ones but they like to craft. We don’t give the kids Valentines presents from us. |
|
Disappointment. On account of my being such an underachieving mom who didn’t even realize that this was a thing people do.
It’s the gift that keeps on giving, really. And it works for all these random holidays that I’m oblivious to. |
| Why would I get my 12-year-old daughter something other than a pack of Valentine's cards to fill out for her friends if that's what she wants to do? Anything else is just weird. |
+1. |
| Chocolates. And we will all share a heart cake later after dinner |
How is it on trend? That is what we all had when we were 13. Those are just staples. |
I did this to for my son. |
| Absolutely nothing. |
No they haven’t been stables for 25 years. They are trending again (is that better?). |
| *staples |

Ugh, not more junk they don't need or want.
A kiss and strawberries with their cereal. |
