OP here. I love the physical touch of a man, so toys are not my thing. A man with great bedroom skills, and one that can talk to you just how you like to be talked to, is golden.

I have to problems securing a lover. It's a partner with good intimacy skills. This is DC, male lovers are everywhere.

If a guy came on here talking about “training” a woman to perform sexually he’d be run out of here.

Sexism, racism, ageism, body shaming - it’s all only ok when it’s aimed at white guys.

Why do you assume she’s talking about a white guy? Because you assume white guys are lame?
Poor, poor white guys - it’s so hard to be you. Nowadays you can’t just be ‘you’ and be afforded every last privilege and adulation in life you actually have to work at things and be introspectively and thoughtful. Poor poor you - why not just go shoot up a Waffle House to diffuse your tension ?

(Hint - don’t do that you would be hurting others who also matter).

For those women who have married men that are great partners, but not great lovers, how have you resolved your sexual incompatibility? Did you open the marriage? Did you discuss this prior to marriage?

It has proven to be very difficult to find an older man with a comparable drive that wants to be partnered.

I would unpartner with a man who didn't match my drive. Find a retired military guy. I'm a single woman never married no kids, late 40s. Retired military guys or retired firefighters or retired anything, are great. They're divorced because their first marriages didn't work out due to traveling too much. Their kids are usually older because they tend to have them in their 20s. And they're usually calm, cool, and collected on the outside for the public facade, but very hot in the bedroom.

Wow you are one very bitter deranged sexist racist. Here is to hoping your prejudices are exposed and you suffer the consequences.

Most men, and women for that matter, view sex through a male pleasure paradigm. Generally men will need to be "trained" to understand what their partner enjoys, simply because they've never really had to think about it from the female perspective and no one is really teaching guys this stuff.

That has to be the biggest load of crap I've read in quite some time here on DCUM and that's saying something.

Why do you say that? I actually think that's pretty accurate.

Because it assumes that women are somehow naturally gifted and magical lovers. My experience has been that they are a mixed bag at best. It's a two way street and it's all about communication. Just because a woman can make a man O relatively easily doesn't make her good in bed. This attitude that, by definition, "good sex" is all about the woman's pleasure is garbage. It's supposed to be about mutual pleasure and, if the person is someone you care about, a deeper emotional connection.

OP here. It's the same for both genders. As a PP suggested, the idea of a older, retired guy is perfect. I did go out on a date with someone 10 years older recently. He called me "kid" as the date ended
