Anyone else totally into JCREW?

I'm 33 years young and shop at H&M with my 25 and 35 yr old friends.

I like JCrew, Anthropologie, Zara and H &M, with some nice things from Neimans/Saks or boutiques (Cusp/Urban Chic) thrown in for good measure.

I'm 36 and like J.Crew for staples and classic items. I also really love Anthropologie and Boden. And, Ann Taylor Loft. Can't for the life of me understand why some people call it "frumpy". I definitely don't look my age and am somewhat petite. I'm always complimented on my clothes from there. Interesting.

For casual items, Old Navy and The Gap. Though, I must say that is becoming less the case with each passing year.

I think Ann Taylor and Ann Taylor Loft have been actively updating their looks. Some of the things they sell now look like - of all things - J. Crew knock-offs.

I also like Anthropologie.

I'm late 30s, and I don't shop at J. Crew. I'll check it out. I am a bit tired of going to The Gap.

I find Boden clothes more interesting and unique over J. Crew. Old Navy clothes absolutely suck, cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I love J Crew only because I'm a 36 yo mom of 3 kids under 4 and have absolutely no time to think about picking interesting, individual outfits (as much as I loved to shop when I was childless). J Crew is VERY near my house, and has all the basics I need (with a few twists) that are inoffensive, and sometimes really cute. When I have time, I'll augment J Crew stuff with some interesting stuff from Boden (although some of their stuff is cartoonish), Gap, and end-of-season sales at Bloomies and Neiman's.

I love their clothes--I have found them to be well-made (especially suiting and crewcuts stuff) and timeless pieces. If I could afford it, it's all I would wear. LOVE IT. I am 40, but have always liked understated, classic clothing. JCrew is not stuffy--Talbots is stuffy.

The most recent JC catalog was terrible--what's up with model with her pigeon toes stance (notice this over and over)? And the granny stockings?

Normally, I am a fan of JCrew, but my enthusiasm has been waning. Quality is not as good--remember when all their cardigans used to have grosgrain trim?

While I really like JCrew, I have to share the view that the most recent catalog was terrible.

I'm a PP who does like J.Crew but, yes, I did share your opinion of the most recent catalog.
