Anyone else totally into JCREW?

Maybe not stuffy then. Sort of relaxed stuffy. Some of their items are not as good of quality ie t-shirts.

Sometimes I think the issue is not so much quality as style/expectations. J Crew's t-shirts tend to be lightweight, but that's a design choice--they're going for a different look than you would get with a thick cotton t-shirt from somewhere like Land's End.

I still want to know where 24 year olds shop.

29 year old here. 5 years ago I shopped Old Navy and Gap for work clothes (kindergarten teacher), occasionally Bebe for going out clothes, and Nordstrom TBD for nicer stuff.

The 24 yo's I know shop at H&M and Forever 21, in addition to Old Navy/Gap.

Oprah, another Michelle fan. Both are into fake eye lashes and heavy make up.
Check out the blouse & sweater. JCrewesque

24-y-os shop at Banana and Hilfiger I think? I think of JCrew and BR as "standard" work clothes. I work in a business casual environment -- jeans on fridays kind of place. Love JCrew cashmere (and it generally gets picked as one of the go-to places for that, btw, by reviewers), but it does pill, so you have to shave it.

I prefer their winter to their summer...I find the summer to be too young and silly for me, while they do some nice winter classics. I do not consider myself to be overly stuffy as a dresser, but I guess I do prefer a more tailored look for my body type. Any flowy or unstructured does not do my body any favors.

As a 43 year old who has worn J, Crew for years - i.e. back when he was a little known state legislator, I also find this annoying. But I fine it more annoying that you would probably see me there and think of me as an "older" lady.

If you like fashion and are in your 20's through 40's, it's Cusp.

I'm 31 and I like Jcrew for my basic wardrobe staples. However, for fun clothes I love Anthropologie.

Well, I hate to break it to you, but ya ain't young! Own it! It's not the end of the world. I find it annoying when women don't accept their age and keep insisting on being called young, 40 is the new whatever, no wait FIFTY is the new whatever, blah blah blah. No, 43 is 43, and 53 is 53.

I'm the 43 year old, and neither claimed to be young or denigrated my age. I'm comfortable being middle-aged. However, I think of "older ladies" as being women in their 60s, not women in the mid 40s. Peace.

J. Crew blends into the crowd a little too much for me.

Where do you like to shop? How old are you, if I may ask? Just curious where stylish women of my age (39) like to shop.
