Actually, by pure percentages, most Americans support these ideas. The Americans in the midwest who disagree with these ideas are in absolute terms the minority. And yet they seem to dominate the politics of our country. This is a problem. Just like nearly 3 million people being disenfranchised from determining the president of the United States is a problem.
