+1 most of my produce seems to say "Product of California.. or Canada... or Mexico.. or Chile". I rarely see "Product of Iowa". Actually, I don't think I've ever seen Product of Iowa. PP is correct... most of flyover crops are exported, which is why so many of those farmers are worried about the fact that Trump pulled out of TPP and the ongoing trade war with China. They do produce some of the ingredients that go into packaged food, though, like wheat and soy bean. But most of our fresh produce come from CA or other countries. |
The arrogance and simple-mindedness of your post is breathtaking, PP. And that is saying a pretty damn lot for DCUM. |

I always see Product of Florida, too. I’m not eating many soy beans from Kansas. |
It won't be a split. It will be a war. Because people like the PP will insist on it. So be it. I just hope it happens while I'm young enough and fit enough to fight. There won't be a split when it's over, either. We'll take the whole country. Then we'll offer people like the PP a very simple choice. Leave, or stay. (Staying would be a mistake) |
+1 to all |
Yes! This is beyond stupid and extremely decisive. Stop doing Russia’s work for them unless you are a paid troll, which is very likely. Jeff should delete this stupidly as it is plain dangerous. |
Scary that people like you walk amongst us. |
Tell you what, promise to keep all the “cultural enrichment” on your side, and we’ll help you build it. |
+100 Honestly, I thought I had become desensitized to that kind of liberal arrogance, but I guess not. It's repulsive and most of the country agrees. |
But not scary that people like the first PP walk amongst us? Please.

He’s been “only temporary” for a year and a half now. Does “any day now” get old after saying it so much! |
All presidents are temporary fool |
Actually, most of the country does not agree. There are more liberals than there are of you. Your arrogance only surpassed by your ignorance. Your hate is messing with your mind. |

I will agree with the premise of the OP that the country is obviously very divided, but if the PPs who think the midwest (in general) is culturally and politically aligned with (in general) the people who live on the coasts who have been vilified as elites by the likes of Rush Limbaugh for over 30 years, you are mistaken.
The fact of the matter is that the coastal states are responsible for the overwhelming majority of the GDP in the country. It is also responsbile for much of the so-called liberal agenda which includes things like live and let live (ie gay marriage,) the value of a women's rights over a fetus rights, the idea that guns in dense urban environments are not the greatest idea and the concept that cities thrives when cultures intermix. As a former midwesterner, I get it on the whole idea that things are different in the midwest, but the idea that people who are embracing of other peoples and cultures mixing into the "traditional" white culture of America as a bad thing is just not what our country is about, yet it appears to be what Trumpism is about. Prove me wrong. |
