And here I thought there might be a good story. Like, my brother's girlfriend was his affair partner. They met when he hired her to be the stripper for his buddy's bachelor party. Both of them ran out on their families and children so they could be together and are currently entangled in messy divorces.

Now, THAT might be a reason to hate your brother's girlfriend.
