Because people are, for the most part, lazy and uncreative. Are you just now catching on to that?

I went to HS with a set of identical twins named Stacy and Tracey. And another set named Dena and Dana. I couldn't tell any of them apart.

I saw twins at a dance competition. The mothers were twins, late thirties probably and still dress identical. Not joking. Hairstyles exact same. I guess they live in a duplex style home with their families but share the full backyard. I had a hard time not staring.

That said parents name their kids dumb things all the time. Morgan Morgenstern is my favorite to date.

My SIL with twins named them after her high school boyfriends current and ex girlfriend. Now that was peculiar.

Ugh, a made-up name spelled in two different made-up ways.

Aren't all names made up?

There are b/g twins in my kid's class, upper elementary school, names rhyme and still dressed alike. For sure none of my business, but still sort of freaks me out.
