Can’t stand IL’s rhyming twin names

Remember that show "A Baby Story"? I saw an episode once where a mom had b/g twins, and was pregnant with another set of b/g twins. She named the second set "Deja and Dejan" as in Deja vu.

I have two sets of aunt/uncle twins and they've always loved their names. Pat and Patsy, Harry and Harriet. Maybe it was because they were opposite sex twins?

My twins' nicknames rhyme - I totally did not realize it when I named them. Now you all are making me feel even worse.

You know no one believes you when you say you “totally” had no idea. Right?

I know a family who named one daughter Emerson and call her Emmy and then named their next daughter Emily. True story.

How do you know they weren't cousins?

Ugh, a made-up name spelled in two different made-up ways.

All names are made up, dum-dum. Do you think God handed out a box of names?

Yes this happened to me too. Luckily one nickname is a baby name that is wearing off. I still use it but try not to.

When you have infant twins, you can come back and let us know how many dumb decisions you make. I am sure that rhyming nicknames won't even be near the top of the list.
