A man should take longer as he gets older. It's one of the wonderful things about getting older. Getting to a point where you have nearly total control and can hold off until she's had hers, maybe even a few times, before you pop.

I can't fathom why PE has started in your H but the bigger problem is you are not being satisfied, and I'm sure this is no fun for him either. Perhaps a change in how you two approach sex is in order where he makes it all about you first. Start with a nice message for you, fingers and oral with you getting off before anything else happens. From the perspective of a concerned wife you should ask him if everything is alright. He must notice it and will not be insulted. A urologist visit might be called for. The only time my DH seems to shoot fast is if there has been a long time between sex - he refers to it as pent up demand. I don't mind if my DH is a bit fast because I'm 57 and can't handle PIV for more than a five minutes and I've usually had an O before that happens.

It's not true that a man should take longer as he gets older. It's actually been the opposite for me, and for other guys as well. Same thing happened to me when I hit 40. Really messed with my head. The fix has been exercise and just relaxing and enjoying myself and not worrying. The exercise helps with breathing, which is critical to maintaining. Relaxing also helps. Talking about it in a nonjudgmental way will help -- I'm sure he notices and isn't happy about it. Just one of those changes, but not irreversible.

Just have more sex OP. He will last much longer if you do it everyday. If you are already doing it everyday, then maybe he needs to see a doctor. I thought this was only an issue with young guys

As an older guy it's actually difficult to remember what my staying power use to be. I was never one who could sustain PIV for more than 10 minutes though I could go a second time within 20-30 minutes. I'm just happy that at 64 I can still get an erection unaided and finish 90% of the time. The 10% failure rate is if I drink a bit too much.
