Just buy some for the troops or donate to the girl scouts selling the cookies. Is that so hard?

There, I said it.

You are not alone. Yuck.

I prefer Pepperidge Farm cookies.

Yep. I honestly don't understand the excitement for mediocre cookies. If I want mediocre cookies, I'll take a bag of Chips ahoy or even grocery store brand chocolate chip cookies; at least those are edible, GS cookies are gross.

I'm pretty excited about this.

Canadian lady - do you ever get to America? If so, have a friend buy you some cookies and keep them for you. I have a Canadian friend I'd do this for, if she were visiting soon and wanted cookies. You can also order online but I imagine the shipping would be exorbitant.

p.s. keebler makes a pretty good "grasshopper" cookie that is a lot like the thin mint. I think they make a samoa version as well that is decent.

13:23 here. I have my mom bring ABC cookies from Massachusetts when she visits. I was a Gold Award recipient and she was a troop leader, so we take our GS cookies seriously. It's going to be tough when my own girl is cookie selling age and I have to switch over to LBB.

These mint ones http://www.oreo.com/thins/ are much better than the Girl Scout thin mints. And you can get them all year!

Samoas and thin mints are good

The cookies are gross income and grossly overpriced! What I really hate is the physical assault outside of grocery stores.

These are truly great and worth the price.

You realize it’s not about the cookies? Or are you normally this dense.

+1
They're too oily tasting.

I actually like the generic/knock offs (Keebler, safeway brand, etc) better. Way cheaper too.

They don't just taste oily, they are oily. Look at the ingredients. No different than gas station junk.

If I'm going to binge on empty calories I'll visit a nice bakery or buy Tate's crispy cookies at WF.
