Extremely traumatized 2 year old in preschool- when do I say enough?

OP, Can you have her home one more year? Three is usually the best age for most children to leave their homes for school. And then mornings will be great.

FWIW, I cried my eyes out for the first two weeks of preschool. My mom stuck it out and then I was fine.

OP, I'm so proud of you for pulling her. Yes, of course your child would have eventually adapted. But at what cost? Why put her through it?

If it's not something you needed for childcare I think you did the right thing. No need to push them if they're not ready. It's a lot to ask of many 2 year olds.
