Cute, random things about your dog

Sometimes she starts scratching her head with her back foot, and the foot just works it's way around to the ear and disappears all the way in, still scratching. Then she chews on her toes, I guess to clean them.

My dog is gross and I love her.

Mine does too! They like to eat their earwax!

My older dog does not appear to know how to howl. We only noticed this when younger dog came on the scene and loves to sing! So YD howls/sings and OD just barks at her like “wtf are you doing, shut up!”
Instead OD makes a weird noise in her throat. It sounds exactly like pigeons - totally weird

My pop loves an obnoxious squeaky toy and when he finds it he excitedly jumps in my lap and start squeaking the toy right in my face. I know I have encouraged behavior because I always take it out of his mouth and throw it, so in his mind he’s just playing fetch with me. Also if I go into our sitting room and cross my leg over the other he starts playing with the foot that is not touching the floor. He gets very excited, runs in circles around my foot, goes under it on his back and bats at it with his paws like a cat and so on. I love my pup. He is so cute

When my dog sees us grab her leash she prances around in circles because she's so excited for her walk. She's so cute.

When my dog gets very excited on a walk at the park she jumps up and yanks my gloves off. Which is actually excruciating in this cold weather. Then she tries to race off and "kill" the glove and bury it.

My golden retriever is the funniest guy. I didn’t grow up with dogs so I never imagined loving one this much but OMG he’s the best.

He will BOLT to the laundry room (where we keep the leash), tail wagging 75 mph if you say the words “walk?” to him, he rests his chin on the couch, right next to the person sitting down, as if to say “I exist- attention please!” and wags ferociously when you pet him, only sleeps halfway in his bed (other half on the floor)...and we have him sit about 10 feet away from his dish before giving him his food and only when we say “ok!” is he allowed to go...one time I told him to sit, set his food down and got distracted by something else...only to return 10 minutes later to find the poor hungry guy still sitting there waiting for Mom to give him permission to eat. Awww.

to the PP whose dog noses them, it's a herding thing. "How are my people-sheep doing? Are we all going the same way? Just checking in!"

OP here. My dog's a shepherd too. Hmm, maybe this explains it--still find it so endearing.

She has a smile/smirk she does. Sometimes her lip will get tucked in her mouth and then you call her name she has the funniest look on her face. Before we had my son she cuddled with us in bed she was always close by when I was pregnant. Now she's still close by sleeps in my closet or sleep at the end of his crib.

Cutest thing my dog does is love me the most

She will run past everyone to greet me first if we all come home at the same time. She sleeps next to me every night. She comes to me after she finishes eating with her tail wagging and gets in my face. She also just has an adorable look about her.

Our dog (really our 3rd child) rides in the middle of the backseat, between the human kids. She doesn’t care about food really at all, except for popcorn, which she will take from your hand as if it is the most delicate treasure. She sleeps with youngest human child but scoots down the hall as soon as she hears me turn on the shower in hopes that I haven’t made the bed yet and snuggles into my warm spot—head on pillow and everything.

This week it rained and she pretended to do her business when we let her out at bedtime and in the morning by hiding under the eaves so she wouldn’t get wet. Then, while we were away for the morning, it became an emergency and she pooped inside, but she went into the bathroom (tile floor) to do it! She had a great run on a leash that night and then, the next morning, she tried to pretend again until someone stood outside with her.

He is currently under the dining room table, trying to dig a hole in the rug to hide the chewy stick I gave him.

Yup, this is mine too. Our year old pup will race past the kids and DH to say hello to me, which while I pretend to be sympathetic, boy does it make my day since the kids now say a more enthusiastic hello to the fridge than to me after school!!

My Frenchie brings me my slippers when I get home.

My doggie used to nudge my hand for more petting if I stopped petting her.

I met the sweetest dog today who would gently place her paw on your hand if you sat next to her.

My dog wouldn't let my new boyfriend into my room after my divorce! He had to walk him for a week b/f he was nice to him. It was hilarious.
