Rap music do you have any rules about it?

Exactly.

We do not censor music AT ALL. We are a muaic family. Music is always playing in the house. We even have an extensive record collection and the record player is going daily. My boys play instrumentd as well.

Luckily, their taste does not include rap music. They've been exposed to wuality music their whole lives and it has rubbed off

Lovely.

Opioids, xanax, molly (ecstasy) and/or codeine is in *every* rap song.

Your being very one sides say it is primarily a rap thing, drugs are a music thing and mentioned in all genres. Your problem with rap is that is it is spelled out pretty bluntly instead of being disguised in euphemism or hidden in theme.

Punctuation: do you have something against it?

Same here. I never, ever thought I would like any of it, but my sons made me a bunch of mix tapes, and I find I like at least 50% of the songs. I like a lot of Ray Schrimmer, and I love Kid Cudi's Pursuit of Happiness. Still not getting Lil' Uzi Vert (They think he's amazing), but I'm trying.

I'm right there with you. DS plays me all his music and tries to get me to appreciate it. I don't like Uzi's voice, but DS is a big fan.

Play whatever you want. But if it becomes objectionable, it's gonna get turned off and we're going to talk about it AT LENGTH until I'm doing saying what I want to say about it.

Please point us to current non-rap songs in the top 20 or 50 or even 100 that are literally entirely about glorifying hard narcotics and/or abuse of women. With rap, it's literally EVERY popular song. If you can't see this is intentional, to brainwash our teens, I'm sorry you're so dull.

The hell I can't! My house, my car, my money buying the music.

I hate and will not tolerate rap music.

I also hate and will not tolerate country music.

Am I prejudiced?

We prefer hard rock and heavy metal. When they're in my car, I pick the music, and that's what I like the most. Motionless in White, All That Remains, Cradle of Filth, Symphony X, Xandria, Trivium, Yngwie Malmsteen, FFDP, Bullet For My Valentine, Black Sabbath, Korn, Metallica, Rob Zombie, etc. For extra flavor I throw in some Queen and some Pink Floyd, Asking Alexandria, Breaking Benjamin, H.I.M., Bon Jovi....I have so many different bands on my phone that I can't even think of them all right now.

My rules:
If I ever hear you repeating those words, no more rap

I have a 13 year old boy who literally loves all forms of music.

Rap is not music. It's a massive pile of sh*t mixed with random discordant noises made by talentless assclowns.

I could say the same thing about most sports. To each his own.

teens obsessed with rap are GENERALLY slackers/idiots. DD and all her smart cute girls are into electronic and alternative music.

The execs are the same background as those that push opioids like purdue pharma.

Americans are slowly starting to notice.
