Hey-ey ya, hey-ya! |

Sheila
Sharon Sherry/Sherrie |
| One of my favorite names is Sage. |
| I have a Selah in my family. It's definitely See-la (like Sela Ward). It's a great name, but does not make me think hipster. Sadie, Susanna, Sage, Sloane, and Sienna all seem like good options. |
| I had a neighbor named Sarae (pronounced Sa-Ray) and always thought it was a nice name. |
|
As fellow quirky hipsters, we considered:
Sabine Simone Sybil Other hipster friends have babies named: Sylvia (trending big time in my circle) Susannah |
|
I have a friend Samara - I think it's a beautiful and unique name!
I also really love Sloane and Simone. |
| Sanya |
|
My daughter had a girl in her class named Selah -- and pronounced Say-luh. Kids and adults seemed to pick up on the correct pronunciation rather quickly, no issues.
So, I'd say, if you like it, go for it, and I think it's a cute name. Oh, and I have another name starting with S in mind. Suri.

Sonia
Selissa Shirley |
| Serena |
I’ll add Serene,Samara, Shauna, Shania |
| Serena is a lovely "S" name. Everyone will know how to say and spell it, and it's not so common that you'll hear it often. I associate strong women with this name too. |
