Thomas Jefferson High School in Fairfax County, VA. It's a magnet school and supposedly in the top 10 schools in the US. More of a Chinese-Korean place than Indian, but if an Indian mom gets her kid into that school you'll never hear the end of it from her. There is even a bumper sticker that just says "TJ" to let everyone know. |

| My husband plays every now and then but only when there is nkt much else going on and certainly not every weekend! I do know of some Indian men who do that and I don't know how their families stand for it. Mine stopped playing for many years when the kids were younger. |

I know that culture is very resistant to change & I hate sounding so ethnocentric, but leaving you alone all day w/a fussy + active one-year old is very inconsiderate in my opinion.
He CHOSE to be a parent and he needs to allocate more time for his family. Giving up an active social life is one of the costs involved when becoming a parent. Just ask any parent. |
