How will he (read:you) ever recover?

I wish my school would cancel the K "graduation" celebration.

I agree that a party may be a little much.

But if our child's teacher was just planning a quick picture opp outside the last half hour of school on the last day I have no idea why Dr B feels like she has to step in and cancel the whole thing.

OP plan something up on the hill for 3:15.

The room parents should not have allowed it, blame them.

WTF? Crowns? This is so dumb, the kindergarten parents sound insufferable.

I'm confused. Was this an end of year party just for the kids? Because that's normal and happens all over. Or was this something where all the parents were invited to show up?

The roomparents have parties for everything else! Why would they think otherwise

Every grade level at Lafayette has a half day end of year celebration.

Exactly. Why was this K class having something else?

Because there already is a party time planned for next week...

I kind of blame the teachers here...

Nor should they. It's for THE KIDS. Why would parents be invited??

It's the same in other grades, 3rd grade had theirs today, parents weren't invited. An informal celebration at the end of the year.
