Arlington's drop-in soccer starts this Saturday at Washington-Lee. There should be details on the ASA site.

Sorry -- I don't know when it will start -- but it will be Friday evenings starting at 5:30 and Sundays from 2-4pm. Location should be either Draper Drive Park or Stafford Park. As soon as it's certain, I will post here.

DS (7) went and enjoyed it. DH said that there were about 20 kids there, who were divided into two games. There were a lot of U9 ASA travel players in one of the games, and DS (who doesn't play travel) really enjoyed playing with them.

If you've never attended an ASA drop-in session before, it's very casual and unstructured. The ASA coaches there let the kids organize themselves, so the kids get a chance to take charge and set the rules. It's fun for a soccer-loving kid.

No, but I can promise you it's happening. I will be there myself!

Arlington drop-in was good, but I think the attendance was more sparse than usual because of the last-minute switch from Washington-Lee to Longbridge. (we forgot to check the site and showed up at W-L, which was closed - so did a bunch of other families, who did not end up at LB with us.) This last weekend had 2-3 games going for the K-2 kids, maybe 6 girls total, and the rest boys. Mix of rec, travel and ADP kids.
