Toddler Girls Shorts are too short

I have DD wear capri-length leggings under her dresses, which at this point is her preference over shorts.

I agree that it's hard to find longer shorts. DS is still an infant, so I don't know boys vs girls.

I am glad I am not the only one! I have a 17 month old and I don't want her to wear shorts because she started to walk a few weeks ago, and she's always falling. But pants that I find these days (Cat and Jack, Gymboree... to a name a few) just are super tight leggings. It's not practical for summer.

Its so weird how different the boy and girl clothes are. My poor boy is sweating in these crazy long 3T boy clothes. I saw the shorts for girls and might have bought him a few if they had any blue or green at Carters but yes they are crazy short!
