How to handle ex's sudden interest in the kids

If he owes back support, and isn't working on paying it down, then you probably have a case to build if he does in fact sue you for more custody. My bet is that he'll talk to some lawyers and they'll explain his options, and also that back support will NEVER go away and will be taken out of his social security checks, and he'll back down.

I should add, it never goes away as long as it's COURT ORDERED. If it's not court ordered it doesn't exist.

If he wants to be there let him. Don't deny him and his child/children from forming their own relationship. They will realize if he plays games or doesn't care for them just as they'll realize if you play games or don't care for them. As long as the kids aren't in danger let them be.
