Agree. I thought Alexa's post about having a tummy was really odd, given that she looks like she weighs about 90 pounds (but with enormous boobs, so basically exactly what SI usually features). It seemed much more like body dysmorphia than about women's empowerment.

I believe she's dealt with eating disorders in the past, so yea, she probably has a distorted view of herself.

I doubt that picture is an accurate representation of what these ladies really look like in real life. Every blotch, dimple and tummy bulge has likely been edited out. Chubby thighs are thinned, saggy skin is smoothed. I'm sure they are all lovely people, but I can't bring myself to consider this picture a genuine representation of what they look like.

She was queen of SI back in the day. I think it's great at 63 she's there with her grown children.

Brinkley is a mom just like every other mom. She probably did the shoot because her daughters were included. Maybe she thought that it could help to give them exposure and launch their careers?

I think that the pose is a nod to Christie Brinkley - the legend. She is the focus of the shoot and she is why this particular shoot happened.

I'm sure they all look good but there is some obvious photoshop going on in that photo. Nobody has lines that smooth on their thighs and hips. You can see the edges where they smoothed, and probably slimmed the body lines.
