What kind of woman teaches at a Montessori preschool?

She wants to date the director based on email conversations but wants to know if its ok to suggest the idea or not as she is a parent and has a child at the school. So can the director date a parent is the question..

Nor sure if you are a gay woman or a man OP but either way I would meet her first, before you suggest a date.

Where on earth did you get this?

I'm guessing OP is wondering if they will have interests in common. Without knowing what he does, it's hard to say. I think it would be a bit more of a stretch if he were a tobacco lobbyist.

Me too, but now it's got me thinking career change! Professional Toddler Bodyguard! As long as I can wear black suits and one of those ear thingys, even though there wouldn't be anyone else on the other end.

I had no idea OP was female. Or is a parent. Or has a child.

Wowzers

Me thinks OP is posting too many times on this thread. Mass confusion.

Only women I have seen teaching at a Montessori preschool have been the complete package. Stunningly beautiful, very highly educated, wealthy, perfect figure, down to earth, young, fertile and single.

I am OP.
I am not a parent.
I do not have children at the school or children at all. She has a 12 year old son.
I have never been to the school.
I am a man.

I am not sure where that came from!

OP, could you clarify what specifically you are concerned about?
My kids both went to Montessori schools and their teachers were interesting, kind people. Like in all professions, there were a variety of personality types.

Yes. but we haven't met yet.

Montessori has actual teachers, who are trained. They do have aides. It is a methodology but every school applies it differently, and frankly all the families I know send their kids to the closest pre-school (reggio, montessori, play-based), they got in to.

This is not a daycare worker job.

That said, it's not exactly a career unless you want to be a career pre-k teacher or the Director of the program/school.

I am a Montessori teacher who finds your last comment very offensive. Being a teacher IS a career.

I think you could say it about any job.

Being a doctor isn't exactly a career unless you want to be a career doctor.

Being a lawyer isn't exactly a career unless you want to be a career lawyer.
