The newer version of The PT was written by a married couple & they actually named Annie and Hallie after their real life daughters. It is a bit of a neat coincidence, though, that Hallie is so similiar to Hayley!

Side note - did you know PBS remade Pollyanna a few months ago? It's on the PBS app if you want to watch a remake of the Hayley version.

It's a bit different than the Hayley version but still enjoyable.

I think my favorite part is when they float cruella in the lake
