They are kicking Palestinians out of their homes, businesses, and farms to build these settlements. |
Sorry, your agendas doesn't add up to real life https://spectator.org/will-palestinian-christians-survive-another-christmas/ Perhaps you're right, if the Palestinians use them as human shields, as they're prone to do. In other news, there is Christian Arabs in the Israeli army and the number is rising http://time.com/15479/israeli-army-christian-arabs/ |
A fact that can be conveniently forgotten, apparently. |
The facts that were conveniently forgotten were the Israeli policies towards the residents of Gaza that provoked the violence. Israel's border restrictions and control of the sea crippled the economy. Moreover, Israeli continuing attacked targets within Gaza. Israel turned Gaza into the world's largest prison and then was shocked (not really, it was by design), that violence resulted. |
As somebody who follows the ME, you likely know that the mindset of every ME country is "all or nothing". In other words, if you don't get everything, hen you have nothing. The fact is, in the ME, if you compromise you are seen as weak. Israel compromised as much as they felt the could on Gaza for nothing in return, and they got absolutely nothing in return. And let's not Forget why Israel has these territories in the first place...how many times where they invaded? |
Right jeff. Just like those Germans at the Christmas Market provoked the guy who drove the truck over them. |
If you want to dispute a fact, then provide contrary evidence. Attempting to deflect to an unrelated issue shows that you are unable to dispute the facts. |

Israelis are as uncompromising as Palestinians, in fact arguably the settlers are worse because they feel not only do they feel they have a divine mandate to take the land regardless of whether Palestinians are fighting Israel or not, they also feel they have a divine right to subjugate Palestinians and make them slaves.

| Even with a two state "solution" Israel will be threatened with destruction, just as it always has been. So there aren't any really good options for it. All are bad, some are worse than others. We'll see what Congress does with respect to the UN. |
You are making a generalization. One could easily make negative generalizations about Palestinians. |
Sadly it's not the only instance of these types of comments and sentiments from settlers. |
Your "facts" come from the rear end of a horse, Jeff. |
The U.N. resolution says East Jerusalem isn't a legitimate part of Israeli territory any longer. That includes the Western Wall. The U.N. is going to lose this one. |
Nothing. |
Yes let's see. UN is a good deal for the US. For every dollar we spend/direct in UN programs, there are 4 additional dollars put in from other countries. Israel is just not that important. |
