yes, I get the the invisible kind for my wife and she wears them nearly every night

| Wool socks! smartwool |
Ha, ha! MIL did this for us this year. We spend Xmas with my family, so she shipped them for us to open over Thanksgiving which we host for them. Then she kept strongly hinting that the intention was for us all to wear them on Christmas morning. Thing is, I already buy coordinating (not identical) Christmas pajamas for the kids. And I've already bought much cuter ones for them this year. Not sure what we are going to do with the ones MIL gave us. I really don't want to wear them

These are the very best kind! And they never go out of style.

| I would love to receive this as a gift. I'm a 37 year old female, if that helps. |
| This is a tricky area. An in-law often gives me some kind of bathrobe, usually quite expensive - but I never wear bathrobes. They get passed onto someone else (surreptitiously, of course). Similarly, I don't wear PJs because I'm really short and they never fit right. I would only give a gift like this if you are confident that it would be worn by the recipient and the recipient is of average height and weight. Otherwise, go with something like slippers, as long as you have some idea of the giftee's size (you have to be careful - I'm a 5 1/2 and my MIL was a 9 at the same height). Restoration Hardware has lovely slippers on sale at very good prices around Xmas. |

OK...I get what you all saying about PJ presents for Christmas, but with my SIL who does the Christmas shopping, she is able to check off numerous people in one store. I can buy my own PJ's thanks. And if she knew me better, she would know that I don't wear flannel PJ's
I don't think the thought is there with her. It's merely convenience. Sometimes I'm lucky if I even get PJ's |
+1 This is exactly how I feel about the PJ's - like it is a lazy gift, with little thought. |
33 year old female echoing this sentiment. I am a pajama person though, I wear a button down set or a gown every night. I also put on a robe after getting out of the shower, so that would be nice as well. I have probably 20 pairs of pajamas and 3 robes. |
| I have a few adults who insist on giving gifts. We’ve done pjs, kitchen tools, socks ect. This year- everyone is getting a yeti cup. Done and done |
| Yes please. Tall women's XL with pockets. Flannel. If you can find me a link, that would do nicely; I'll buy them myself. |
Only if you know their size. SIL did this one year and she got me something 2 sizes too big because she thought I was fat.

Yes, for little girls.
A fun tradition would be to allow her to unwrap her pajamas package on Christmas Eve, then allow her to sleep in them overnight.

| If they don’t need anything don’t buy them anything. Why buy thoughtless crap they’ll never use and don’t want? Ugh I hate gifts. |
| I am totally down with getting jammies as a gift. |
