What to do with a gallon of skim milk?

Roux doesn't use milk. Roux is just fat and flour.


NP. Make the roux and THEN add milk and a good cheesy cheese. There's plenty of fat in the cheese and the skim will work fine.
In our family, it's less about fearing the fake and more about not wasting.


Yes, I'm the roux poster, and this is (obviously) what I meant. Roux THEN milk.

I grew up only drinking skim and nonfat (thanks, mom lol). I think the first time I had 2 percent was when I was an adult. Now I can't drink skim--it really is a different taste.
