What constitutes residency fraud

This. No tax-fraud is being committed. To the extent OSSE or DCPS or DCPCS or anyone in DC will investigate or prosecute this, it needs to be for monetary damages. Boundary issues are very low on the priority list.

Just the other day, I noticed a navy blue Honda Pilot with Maryland plates pull out of Janney (after picking up a kid) and I knew in my gut this wasn't right. So I followed this car into Maryland and it pulled into a driveway very close to Sligo Creek golf course. I watched very carefully as a mother and son got out of the Honda Pilot and sauntered into their house.

That my friend, is residency fraud. And I have had enough.
Creep.

so says a MD resident.

I happen to know families that refused to buy in DC b/c the taxes are too high- we the residents who suck it up an pay the city taxes and deal with all the crap that goes on in living in a place with zero congressional representation do not have to put up with this theft. I hope to goodness this lady in the Honda pilot got reported, its not the end of the world if you have to switch schools as a kid.

Just be very careful of who you target. I live in DC but drive a company car with MD tags. I was approached by another parent a little over a year ago who ended up feeling quite stupid.

I had to drive a rental with Ohio plates for 2 weeks while my car was being fixed, once

I know a saunter when I see a saunter.

What's a saunter?

This attitude is actually why we are aggressively trying to buy in Maryland right now. I have this misbegotten idea that people there might be less psychotic and assholic and into stalking their neighbors.

Then again, I actually know a family in Maryland who was stalked and reported to cos, so maybe it's a fool's game.

I just want to raise my children in an environment without a bunch of aggrieved and underemployed women stalking license plates and whining. Is that so hard?
