Incompetent or a liar?

You may think it's humorous, but a military officer would probably have been released with no retirement for doing the same. Basically, made to walk the gangplank.

Ahhh...... I see we are back to Alinsky tactics. I guess that is appropriate since Hillary has based her politics on him.

So, you are ready and able to defend her comments to the FBI?
Like the fact that she had 13 mobile devices that cannot be accounted for (after she said she used one device for convenience)?
Or, that she destroyed emails after the NY Times story broke?
Or, that she could not recall many things that someone in her position should have remembered?

Did I miss the part where the FBI recommended indictment? As for the rest of it, yes, she's human, she might not recall things, even in her position.

Now, let's talk about who got fined by IRS for making improper campaign contributions.

Someone who csnnot recall things - what was it, like 40 times? - might be expected for a 70-year-old woman with early dementia, or, as she claimed, suffering the results from her 2012 concussion, but that's not a good quality for the U.S. Presidency.

Actually, it is funnier to watch the Hillarybots twist themselves into unusual yoga moves to attempt to defend her.

Nobody is saying she didn't mess up. That much we all acknowledge. However, no laws were broken and she hopefully learned her lesson. As far as messes go, this is pretty low on the scale. Lower than say, defrauding poor people with a bogus university and buying off the FL AG. Not to mention being a racist asshole. So, since an election does not happen in a vacuum, her screw up matters way less than it might have had otherwise.

Well, that all depends on whether you are a biased liberal. Laws WERE broken, but, according to Comey, not intentionally....which is the way he let the liar off the hook. It's like when someone who doesn't have the mental capacity to know that something is illegal - he cannot be prosecuted.

Intent was a crucial component of the law, so no, laws weren't broken. Stop the lying.

I am not a liberal FYI.

Actually, intent is not a component of the laws and rules she violated. The FBI chose not to recommend indictment simply because they felt as if they could not prove intent.
And, some people have been prosecute for similar or lesser crimes when intent was not evident.
And, what the pp said was accurate.

I feel she's a liar, there is no way you're this incompetent this long and not end up out of a job.

Intent is not required to consider the law broken. Some unfortunate solider sent his parents a selfie, and in the background was a comouter screen showing some classified photo of a submarine. The guy didn't INTEND to send his folks the sub photo, but still....he lost his position and may even be facing jail time.

And obstruction of justice. (Only HRC will say that her staff did it, not her.)

His lawyer is using the Clinton defense. It might work as her corruption has set a bad precedent. Comey did say more or less it doesn't mean other people wouldn't be charged for similar offenses. So in essence - if you're a privileged corrupt politican who lies, you'll get off the hook. You and I? Not so much. We've turned into a banana republic.

The link below talks about the "Clinton Defense," used by a soldier's lawyer. He was facing more than 6 years in jail, and the sentence was reduced to 12 months. Hillary has indeed lowered the bar for criminal prosecution, and now the "I was too dumb to know what I was doing" defense (aka our next president) will be used going forward.

Because if the information was classified and was incorrectly marked (missing the classification header) whoever sent it that way is in trouble. No classification header means not classified, paragraph markings do not make it classified, at least in my experience.

Huh? If you're talking about Clinton, she should have known better. More than 100 emails were classified AT THE TIME (even if they weren't marked.) A discussion about drone attacks is OK for an unsecured server? How did someone this incompetent get to be SoS? If she had married Slick Willy, she would be some obscure, dishonest lawyer who nobody ever heard of.
