Right of center: a long slow death

Same with immigration. He tried, and failed, to take a unilateral, extremely progressive action to help dreamers. I feel for them. Something should be done. But his action was far from centrist.

Yes, I want to know. Evolving to what? A progressive's goal is to alter society so much that we are all individuals under a strong national government. Freedom of speech is altered. Freedom of religion is chipped away at every possibility. Any federal funding forces 100% compliance to progressive values. Children will simeltaneously have more 'rights' as their childhood is stripped away and they are filled with progressive dogma in schools. So much that they won't even recognize that there is an alternative. (And you liberals, in fact, don't realize there is an alternative). Everything is legal if it fits your worldview. A bunch of spoiled, entitled victims we'll have in America.

Oh please....go practice whatever religion you want, knock yourself out. But I don't want your beliefs infringing upon, impacting, nor shaping mine. Period.

Face it...you're a dying breed, as evident in your party's demise.

Bah. If you believe that, you aren't paying attention to just how radical the right wingers have become.

Obama is a left of center moderate. So are both Clintons. That's where most of the country is, so that's why they win elections.

The only way for the Republicans to win elections is to become a truly center-right party, and wait for America to reach its tipping point and swing slightly back to the right. This far-right bullshit will never on a national stage. When was the last time America elected someone we knew was truly far-right or far-left? I can't think of a single example going back to WW2. I'm too lazy to think through every President from before the War, but I'd bet there is no true non-centrist in the bunch a going back to at least the Civil War.

Apologies for the typos. You get my drift.

Exactly. There are many angry people this year slamming their phones down on the pollsters. They have no idea what's coming.

That kind of response is exactly what I expect of Trump supporters. Slamming down the phone on a pollster, that'll show 'em (show who what, exactly?). And then when the polls show their candidate losing, well, those polls are wrong. It's completely nonsensical behavior.

Even Dana Perino isn't drinking the "polls are wrong" kool-aid. November 9 is going to be a pretty difficult day for some of the reality denialists.

Gotta face that reality at some point, one would think.

Then what?

Have yet to see a legitimate reply that addresses the question at the heart of this post.
It speaks volumes..

Whereas you worship the government and liberalism and make infallible gods out of Hillary Clinton (or others). "Beyoncé is my spirit animal!!!" And then push your religion on everyone through threats of taking away funding from religious-affiliated but otherwise public ventures. Colleges in California. Daycares in Missouri.

I'm a right of center moderate, and I agree most with this. The far-right is pulling TOO hard. They're alienating everyone else in the name of principle. Dems have this problem too but they keep it as minimal as possible. Bernie came close to pulling too hard, but we all know why DWS was put in place. To keep that from happening so dems would win. It's smart. Tea party won't get it. Theyee cliche-ing up everything. Throwing the baby out, shooting their own foot.
