Exactly. There are many angry people this year slamming their phones down on the pollsters. They have no idea what's coming.

Sigh... You mean those angry middle-aged white men at trump rallies? Or like the ones he spoke to in Milwaukee last week, when he tried to court black voters?

Keep drinking the kool-aid. Its that mentality that caused ya'll to squander the last 8 years, when ya'll should have Been grooming a strong, legitimate candidate.

b/c Hillary is the strong Dem?

talk about drinking the kool-aid

I want me some if it makes you so loopy that you don't see the world crumbling around you.

Omg....melodramatic much?

You're right... Trump's got them right where he wants them. That's why he's switching campaign managed with less than 3 months to go. Talk about a Hail Mary!

I guess you don't have children?

b/c any parent should be alarmed at this point

It's not melodramatic; it's being frightened about what the future holds for our children.

But keep drinking that kool-aid, genius.

We're looking at another 4-8 years of dem rule. At what point does everyone face the reality that, love it or hate it, this country is evolving? I do not think the Republican Party (or any party, really) can be successful without acknowledging and embracing this reality.

Evolving to what? A second world shithole on the way to third world?

You Gen X'ers....tsk tsk...

Bitterness aside, what are republicans going to do after this race? As they say in sports: "We're not rebuilding--we're reloading."
What's the path forward for what looks to be a loss come November?

Pretty sure they do. A Clinton landslide.

Thought it was an Obama speechwriter who indicated that millennials don't know anything.

There is a very large male college educated or in college group supporting Trump, age 18 to 30

So the bottom line answer to OP's question is that the radical right wing Republicans have no idea what's next for them. No plan for the future, no idea how to change their path of 16 years of losing.

Good luck with that, boys.

Sure seems like it...
Just a bunch of "It's not over yet!" and Hillary hating replies on here.
It's that lack of direction that directly contributed to reactionary politics and (what will be) a 16 year death for the GOP.

Are you a Boomer or Millennial?

my guess - Millennial, which means you haven't been around long enough to see the country turn into a shithole

No way. He flagrantly supports very progressive social issues. He could have taken a centrist stand and said "ya know I see where both sides are coming from. I'm still going to support my version of 'justice' but I understand some traditional concerns, and I'll work to preserve religious/conservative/traditional families TOO." But no, he doesn't represent me. Just people who claim to be victims. (I'm in a religious minority that gets its own level of persecution..doesn't slow me down so I'm not going to claim victimhood, but it bothers me that there is this hyper-attention paid to certain groups, when he should be concerned for all freedoms.)
